BIBLE BUDDIES A cross-section of various ministries including children, youth, and adults come together to raise funds for and distribute thousands of copies of God's Word each year through schools, festivals, and other events and venues.
CHILDREN & YOUTH Children and youth, ages 0-19, are served through the following organizations. Groups meet on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Cherubs - Ages 0-8
Ambassadors for Christ (AFC) - Ages 9-12
Youth Fellowship Auxiliary (YFA) - Ages 13-19
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION Opportunities for Christian education and discipleship training is a top priority at Beaverdam including the following:
Sunday School - more than 15 age- or grade-specific teacher-led classes for children, youth and adults on Sunday mornings
Bible Study League - teacher-led classes on various topics for children, youth and adults on Sunday evenings
MEN'S FELLOWSHIP The men of the church meet a few times each year for fellowship, prayer and Bible study/devotion.
WOMAN'S AUXILIARY The women of the church meets at 7:30 p.m. on the Thursday after the first Sunday of each month in the Church Fellowship Hall. They also have regular visitation to our home-bound.
MISSIONS Participants help advance the church's mission around the world through various short-term mission trips including most recently to Nicaragua.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Adult Choir - sings at the Sunday morning opening service
Cherubs Choir - our youngest children, the Cherubs, share a song in our Sunday morning opening service
Young Adult Choir - sings at the Sunday morning opening service, at various revivals and other events. The young adult choir practices on most Wednesday evenings (immediately following service).
Youth Choir - the youth choir sings on Youth Sunday, in the evening services, and on other special occasions
SUMMER CAMP (YOUTH CONFERENCE) Beaverdam youth and their adult sponsors participate annually in the Pee Dee Youth Conference each summer at Cragmont Assembly in Black Mountain, NC
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) VBS is one of the largest events held at Beaverdam each year. The annual event, held soon after school dismisses for the summer, has activities for children, youth and adults, with music, crafts, Bible lessons, recreation and refreshments.
